SALINAS DE GUARANDA
Salinas de Bolívar has developed over the time in a village of national and international recognition for its agro industrial activity and craft. Today this population Salinas de Bolivar under its community enterprise is engaged in the production of cheeses which are nationally recognized, the production of this product was among the first to be implemented, and its development is handmade and has a wide range of cheeses from fresh, semi-mature, mature, butter and yogurt. Another of its great nationally known products is the manufacture of handmade chocolates called as the “Salinerito”, its main raw material that they use is the national Ecuadorian fine aroma cocoa; in this product we offer a wide range of chocolates as tablets, and chocolates with exotic flavors like blue bird (typical liquor of the province of Bolivar). The Sausages the “Salinerito” is another of the products manufactured in Salinas de Bolivar, are also made by hand, sausages contain a high percentage of meat, and raw material is obtain of own farm in the village called Chazojuan.
The community also manufactures textiles of Alpaca and sheep wool, they used are fibers for softness and for the natural, currently Texsal Salinas has improved the quality of its products and about 80 members of various communities engaged in the manufacture of sweaters, hats, gloves, scarves, socks, ponchos, scarves and vests. Another product that sells Salinas de Bolivar are essential oils “Salinerito” the same as they are extracted from aromatic plants through a process simple to steam distillation, these oils is 100% natural, these oils are of Palo Santo and Eucalyptus. And finally their new product is selling fruits and mushrooms dried, which have the best flavors and nutritional values.
